How to use Autel APB112?

1. Connect the APB112 Smart Key Emulator to the Auto Diagnostic Device using the included USB cable.
2. After connecting, the status indicator lights up solid blue, indicating that the APB112 Smart Key Simulator is working properly,
then automatically connects to the diagnostic device.
3. The APB112 Smart Key Simulator app is automatically upgraded to the Autel diagnostic device according to the selected vehicle system function.
4. Place the Smart Key Simulator near the ignition coil to collect data, which is used to decode the chip.
After decoding, the data of the original car chip can be copied.
5. The emulator key chip can generate various types of key chips with subsequent upgrades according to the requirements.

Will this work with the Autel mp808k scan tool?
Answer: No, it cannot. The AP112 smart key programmer can work with Autel IM608 or IM508+ XP400 combination only.
How do we check compatibility?

Will this work for key programming a 2011 mini Cooper key fob?
Answer: APB112 is just an accessory, it only works with (IM508+XP400) or IM608.
You may need IM508/IM608.

Answer: IM508 support this car.
It supports adding new keys/losing all key functions for this car.
