BMW bike engine ECUs are few types – BMSK, BMSX, BMS2K, or BMSMP:
1 – For BMSK ECU – keys are stored in the engine ECU.

The expected file size is 2097152 bytes.
Reading is thru the BDM100 interface or with Flash programmer.
2 – For BMSX BMS2K or BMSMP ECU – to find out where keys are stored you must check the unit on the ignition barrel.
– If there is an IMMOBOX UNIT – keys are stored in this unit, not in engine ECU. To make the key you need software 191.
– If there is a KEY READER UNIT – keys are stored in the engine ECU.
The memory device is the TRICORE MCU eeprom area.
The expected file size is 65536 196608 or 262144 bytes.
Use PCF7936 or Silca T14 – JMA TP12 transponder.
